Hi, I'm Beta and I'm a tattoo artist located in Berlin.
Currently I work at Nido Berlin, a super cozy tattoo studio in Prenzlauer Berg, it's a private studio which I share with other tattoo artists.
My work is based on daily common activities which are simple things we all do to keep things going on.
I like to do it simple, minimalist and far from realism. Doing simple and relatable can be quite challenging.
I have a specific style which has a cartoon and graphic novel influence. I usually tattoo plants, houses, nature, animals, the most famous animal I tattoo is Berta, the chicken - as you can see Berta is getting a tattoo on her neck in this picture.
Following, you see some pictures of my work and you are welcome to see a bit more of Berta and other of my works on my instagram page:
For booking an appointment, please write me a simple message with these info:
. custom idea or any of my available designs
. placement
. size, it doesn’t have to be exact, just an idea
. possible dates
. your preferred pronouns
. all questions you have
All designs have their own minimum size. This is to assure that the small details in the design will be held over time. Some designs may have a 4cm minimum size, whereas others need to be bigger.
After you send your email request, you will have a response within 4 work days.
I’m going to explain how the booking process works, deposit, give you some date suggestions and talk about the project.
As soon as our appointment is confirmed, I will send you the final information you need to know before our appointment!
I do custom projects, they have to be in according to my workstyle, this way I'm sure that I can do it and have the right needles for that.
I request a deposit in order to confirm an appointment and work on custom projects. This way I can plan myself, organise my calendar and be sure that people will show up.
I usually manage my requests, custom projects communication via email, but I also offer consultation when someone prefers to meet me in person before the session. Most of the time when it happens, I also work on sketches if it's a custom project. I have to say that this is a very productive meeting as I sketch together with the person and it ends up being faster than emails. For this works effective, the project has to be very lined up to what I do. I also ask for a deposit for this consultation appointment.
There are few steps you can take before our tattoo session, for example to avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours before the appointment, be well rested and hydrated, wear clean and comfortable clothes.
I usually send the recommendations via email as soon as our appointment is confirmed.
Yes, that's true. Also avoiding other sports is recommended as your tattoo is still an open wound and your body needs rest for the healing.
Besides that there is the regular aftercare process which consits of keeping your tattoo clean and moisturized, I explain all the steps in person at the end of our session and send it to you via email.
Yes, for tattoos done by my I offer touch up free of charge up to 6 months after the tattoo appointment. I honestly do my best for you not to need a touch up, but if you do, please don't be shy and write me!
Yes, you can request me a custom printed drawing or any of my available designs. The payment can be made via PayPal or bank transfer, as soon as the payment is received I send it via post in a very protected and safe packing.
I did a few paintings on wall and I really would like to do more. You can request any of my desings or commissions. I currently work only with black color and the wall needs to be plain, no textured wall paper.
